Frankie Kao

Frankie Kao or Kao Ling-feng is a Taiwanese singer. His birth name is 葛元誠 and he has been using the moniker The Frog Prince for more than three decades which was given to him by his close friend, comedian Ni Min-jan. He also has a friend named , the host of ''Variety Big Brother''. He is known for the song "Flaming Phoenix" .

During the height of his career, Frankie Kao commanded an appearance fee of 240,000 cash per night. He exited from his singing career at his peak and ventured into business. His business venture went badly and he returned the singing scene.

Fei Yu-Ching

Fei Yu-Ching, sometimes spelled Fei Yu Chin or Fei Yuqing , is a Taiwanese ballad singer. Born Chang Yen-ting , he is also known as the younger and slightly more effeminate brother of .

His career began in the late 1970s, and he began to build a large fan base along with his brother. He performed several theme songs for television shows, some of which were more successful than the shows themselves. He has a mellifluous voice and has sung numerous hits such as "Goodnight Song" , "A Spray of Plum Blossoms" , and "Ode to the Republic of China." In 2006, he featured in a duet in Jay Chou's song "". In February of 2008, he also performed during CCTV-4's Chinese New Year special, singing a solo version of "". Coincidentally, Jay Chou also performed in a later slot singing "Green Vase" from his latest album, On the Run

Fei is not married, although he was once engaged to a long time girlfriend.

D. Dubb

D. Dubb was born on April 22, 1991, also known as David, is a singer. As of 2007, he lives in Glendale, Arizona, and is a student at Mountain Ridge High School in Arizona.

He is well known for his song writing talent. To date, he has written many songs for artists like Edison Chen, and boyband 5566 and K One. Currently, he pens lyrics for artists and bands.

Solo


D. Dubb came into the entertainment scene in 2006 when he won in a singing competition and his song was posted on G-Music. He received a lot of flake at first, but slowly his popularity raised.
He is even given the chance to appear in a concert which had a 10,000 strong audience at Zhong Zhen Ji Nian Tang- a mean feat for new artist in the Taiwanese entertainment circle. He was recognised by his long black hair that is parted to the side and his American influence. David later signed on under Sony Music Entertainment with his manager Jason. Following the success, he produced an album ''Listen To My Body'' which was released in 2007. He wants to go on promotional tours in Asia to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

He is known for his acting chops having been casted in popular Taiwanese idol dramas like 雪天使 in 2004 and 任我遨游 which was filmed in 2005. He also had a roles in independent films "Party In Cell Block B," "Bring the Vasoline," and "Superman that Boy: I Got Supermanned."

Calvin Chen Yi Ru is a Taiwanese singer and actor. He is currently a member of the boy band . His stage name is a homophone of his birth name.

Biography


Calvin Chen was born in November 10, 1980, in Taiwan. He is 184 cm tall. After graduating from Jianguo High School, one of the top high schools in Taiwan, he further pursued his college education in Canada at Simon Fraser University. He completed his masters degree in Economics at the University of Victoria. He then further continued his life in Canada by joining a pageant-like competition in Vancouver, where he won first place with a free ticket to Taiwan and a contract with a music company, as well as a role in a drama. He is currently a student at National Chengchi University, studying Public Finance.

Biography


Wu Geng Lin was born on November 20, 1986 in Taiwan. At a young age, his family moved to New York, , where he stayed for his primary school education for about five years. He then moved back to Taiwan for further education. He can speak and understand , , and limited and . He was a sophomore at Chinese Culture University, majoring in Journalism and . However, because his career had greatly affected his academics and learning environment, he transferred to Jin Wen University of Science and Technology, majoring in .

Because of his injury, which required further surgery, he no longer took the lead role in 翻滾吧!蛋炒飯 / Rolling Love. He took the lead role in another drama, 霹靂MIT / Pi Li MIT / The Clue Collector.

Music career



Yan was the second and youngest member to join . He is the tenor vocalist of the group. He has been acknowledged as the member with the most impressive vocal ability. His publicized temperature is that of cold Winter, at 41 F degrees. He also represents "Charming" . Yan also has his own solo which is in The X-Family Soundtrack; Yuan Yi Bu Ai Ni . He has also done a duet called Ti Amo with his junior, Liu Li Yang, which is featured on the Two-sided Fahrenheit album.
Yan, together with the other three members of Fahrenheit, has released their self-titled first album in September 15, 2006 and their much anticipated second album, Two-sided Fahrenheit, released on January 4, 2008.
They have also contributed in many television soundtracks such as KO One, Tokyo Juliet, Hanazakarino Kimitachihe, The X-Family, and Romantic Princess.

Injury


Yan underwent knee surgery in 2006 due to an injury and was not able to attend a lot of the promotions for Fahrenheit's first album both in Taiwan and abroad. In 2007, he underwent another surgery when the old injury was acting up again. When the doctors discovered his ligament was torn again, he rapidly underwent a surgery. However, an anesthetic malfunction caused him to regain pain sensitivity during the surgery, this made him suffer greatly during the operation.

He discovered lately, that he might have to take another surgery and if he does, he may not
be able to do sports.

Currently, he has signed a contract to do a new drama as soon as The Clue Collector was finished filming, but then decides to go on sabbatical until his leg is fully recovered.

Controversies


Because of his absence in many of Fahrenheit's promotions during the later half of 2006 for their first album, news about Fahrenheit leaving him behind thus continuing to be three member boyband and other disbandment news were the center of attention of the media and the concern of most fans. Nonetheless, it is confirmed that Yan will not be leaving Fahrenheit and the band has since expressed great unity and have built strong relationships with one another.
